In uncertain times, corporate values are more important than ever. They are at the heart of the corporate culture and help employees regarding motivation, orientation and decision making. Corporate values promote a sense of community within the team and are an essential anchor point in everyday work, especially in fast-growing companies such as startups.

Generally speaking, corporate values are characteristics that we consider to be particularly important and according to how we act in contact with the team and our customers. At the end of a lengthy process, we at KUGU defined a total of six corporate values that distinguish us the most and unite us as a team. We all share efficiency, sustainability, team spirit, reliability, credibility and openness, and we are also guided by these values when looking for new colleagues. What do our individual values mean and how do we live them on the job? We asked our KUGU employees about their personal experiences and gained interesting insights into how the values shape our corporate culture.

EFFICIENCY - WE STREAMLINE THE PROCESSES AND SIMPLIFY THE COMPLEX

„For me, striving for efficiency in our daily work is extremely important. I can quickly lose motivation if inadequately defined processes cause for us to go forward inefficiently. At the same time, the topic of energy efficiency is important to me on a personal level and especially as a KUGU team member. I was impressed by the onboarding process in the first few weeks at KUGU. There was a clear process that allowed me to integrate quickly into the team and into ongoing projects without disturbing the existing rhythm.“
